Green Lantern New DCU Mythos Primer

With the last of the New 52 hitting shelves last week, the landscape for the new DC Universe has been laid out for all to see, and as far as this nerd is concerned, the path has been established for the continuation of the Green Lantern mythos!

Unlike most titles, Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps pick up right where they left off after the events of the 9-part War of the Green Lanterns. Even the new Red Lanterns book starts off with Atrocitus dealing with the fallout of that event. Green Lantern: New Guardians instead references the initial destruction of the Guardians of the Universe in order to tell Kyle Rayner’s origin story, but that’s not a bad thing. Each book acknowledges the past, yet they all offer a distinctly different take on the Lantern universe.
